Football Recap: Windsor Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Windsor and Clayton Valley Charter squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Windsor had to settle for second. They and the Ugly Eagles were almost perfectly matched up, but they suffered a 20-19 defeat. The Jaguars just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Despite the defeat, Windsor had strong showings from Carter Vose lll, who threw for 143 yards and a pair of touchdowns, and Fernando Lopez, who gained 103 total yards and a touchdown.

Even if they lost, Windsor's defense still kept up the pressure with three sacks. Leading the way was Marcello Mcfarland with two. He also set a new season-high mark in total tackles with nine.

Jhadis Luckey continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Clayton Valley Charter, rushing for 185 yards and one score, while also picking up 66 receiving yards and one TD.

Windsor's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Clayton Valley Charter, they now also have a winning record of 6-5.

Windsor does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Clayton Valley Charter, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 21-17 win against Campolindo on the 21st.
