Basketball Recap: Pallotti Takes a Loss

Pallotti's tournament run continued when they took on Norfolk Christian on Friday. The Pallotti Panthers received a blow as they fell 47-32 to the Norfolk Christian Ambassadors. The game marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Norfolk Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Brianna Norman, who went 5 for 6 on her way to 11 points and four steals. Norman is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Justice Brown-Jones, who posted eight points in addition to nine rebounds and six assists.

Pallotti has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season. As for Norfolk Christian, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-1.

Pallotti wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 36-31 win against Archbishop Spalding on the 28th. As for Norfolk Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 67-56 victory against Menchville on the 28th.
