Basketball Recap: Hamilton Heights Skates Past Frankfort with Ease

Hamilton Heights won the last time they faced Frankfort and things went their way on Saturday too. The Hamilton Heights Huskies breezed by the Frankfort Hot Dogs to the tune of 76-30. The Huskies have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matchups by 23 points or more this season.

Rees Knapp had an outrageously good game as he went 7 of 8 from beyond the arc en route to 28 points and six boards. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points. Tyler Champion was another key player, putting up four points along with five assists and five steals.

Hamilton Heights smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive rebounds. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Frankfort only pulled down four offensive boards.

When it comes to explaining why Frankfort lost, don't look at Jayden McBee. Despite the final result, he posted six points. McBee continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

Hamilton Heights pushed their record up to 7-5 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.3 points per game. As for Frankfort, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-10.

Hamilton Heights and Lapel will meet in a dog eat dog contest at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hamilton Heights is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57.4 points per game this season. As for Frankfort, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 66-36 defeat against Lebanon on the 13th.
