Football Game Preview: Sachem North vs. Central Islip Musketeers

Sachem North will square off against the Central Islip Musketeers at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Sachem North has three straight wins, Central Islip has five straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

On Saturday, Sachem North was able to grind out a solid victory over Longwood, taking the game 24-14.

Meanwhile, Central Islip played a tough game on Saturday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by Lindenhurst and fell 41-14. The Musketeers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 34-7.

Sachem North's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Central Islip, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.

Sachem North was able to grind out a solid victory over Central Islip when the teams last played back in October of 2021, winning 35-24. Does Sachem North have another victory up their sleeve, or will Central Islip turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
