Basketball Recap: Ruth Fox's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Minto over Nenana

Minto lost against Nenana back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The matchup between the Minto Lakers and the Nenana Lynx didn't end well, with the Minto Lakers falling 51-35. The contest marked the Lakers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Minto lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Ruth Fox, who posted ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jena Smith, who scored 11 points.

Minto's loss dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Nenana, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-3.

Minto does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Nenana will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Tok on February 22nd.
