Recap: McEwen Warriors vs. Big Sandy Red Devils
The McEwen Warriors scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They breezed by Big Sandy on the road to the tune of 83-35. That looming 83-35 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for McEwen yet this season.
Despite the loss, Big Sandy still got an impressive performance from Cole Pierpoint, who scored 11 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. Pierpoint set a new season high mark in blocks with three. The team also got some help courtesy of Seth Green, who scored ten points along with five rebounds.
McEwen's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-3. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 76.3 points per game. As for Big Sandy, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-8 record this season.
