Softball Recap: Loudonville Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Loudonville came into Saturday's game having lost eight straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. Everything went their way against the Mt. Gilead Indians on Saturday as they made off with an 11-1 victory. The Redbirds not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since April 2nd (when they won 14-0).

Loudonville's win bumped their record up to 5-14. As for Mt. Gilead, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 11 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-14-1 record this season.

Loudonville will have a chance to go back-to-back against Mt. Gilead: the pair will be back at it again later today.
