Glide dropped their record down to 8-4 on Wednesday, which also ended the team's six-game streak of wins. They came up short against  the Pleasant Hill Billies, falling  14-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest  defeat the Wildcats have suffered  since March 29th.
As for Pleasant Hill, they pushed their record up to 9-5-1 with the  victory, which was their third straight  on the road. They have beaten Glide the last five times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest Glide has come to flipping the script.
For Pleasant Hill's part,  Judah Kelso made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  earned run and  allowing only two  hits while striking out nine over four innings pitched. Those  nine  strikeouts gave  Kelso a new career-high. He was also solid in the batter's box,  going 2-for-3 with three  RBI.
 In other batting news, Pleasant Hill got a  massive  performance out of  Kaden Fisher, who  went 3-for-4 with five  RBI and one  triple. Those  five  RBI gave  Fisher a new career-high.  Landon Kelley was another key player,  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances with two  stolen bases, three  runs,  and one  RBI.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Glide will face off against Oakridge at 5:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for Pleasant Hill, they will head out to  take on La Pine  at 3:00  p.m.  on Friday.
