Soccer Game Preview: Alamance Christian vs. Faith Christian

The Alamance Christian Warriors will head out on the road to square off against the Faith Christian Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Alamance Christian's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 win over Cramerton Christian Academy. The victory was some much needed relief for Alamance Christian as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Faith Christian waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the Patriots with a sharp 8-0 win. Considering Faith Christian have won four games by more than five goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Faith Christian pushed their record up to 5-4 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 18 goals over those three contests. As for Alamance Christian, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.

Alamance Christian couldn't quite get it done against Faith Christian when the teams last played on Tuesday as they fell 4-2. Can the Warriors avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
