The biggest upset of the week belonged to North Babylon, who took down 293rd ranked Newfield, 41-13.
The Bulldogs moved up to 301 from 353 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Section 11 Division II. North Babylon was able to make move up by defeating the Wolverines 41-13.
Riverhead's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Blue Waves feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Ryan Bitzer has thrown for 1197 yards and 11 touchdowns this season, while Funn Quinn has 36 catches for 667 yards. Jerimiah Cheatom leads the league in rushing with 1325 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when West Islip takes on West Babylon. As it stands, the Lions are in first, while the Eagles are in seventh.
West Islip extended the longest winning streak in Section 11 Division II this week by beating Smithtown East, 39-14. The victory was the eighth in a row for Tim Horan's team.
