Volleyball Recap: Southeast Raleigh Takes a Loss

Southeast Raleigh was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Fuquay - Varina Bengals. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bulldogs of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Southeast Raleigh's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Fuquay - Varina, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-4.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Bengals beat Southeast Raleigh by a score of 3-0 later that day.
