Basketball Recap: Universal Academy Takes a Loss

Universal Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were dealt a 48-10 defeat at the hands of the Bayshore Christian Faith Warriors. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 37-7 last Tuesday.

Universal Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Bayshore Christian, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Universal Academy won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Foundation Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bayshore Christian, they are taking a road trip to square off against Lakeside Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
