Baseball Recap: Ferguson Comes Up Short

Ferguson was the 14-6 winner over TERRA Environmental when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Ferguson Falcons fell just short of TERRA Environmental by a score of 7-6 on Friday. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Justin Rodriguez made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April of 2024. Davin Vigoa was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-2.

Ferguson's loss dropped their record down to 3-5-1. As for TERRA Environmental, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 3-4-1 record this season.

It'll be a Battle of the Birds when Ferguson Falcons duke it out with Southwest Eagles at 11:00 a.m. on Monday. Ferguson is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.1 runs per game this season. As for TERRA Environmental, they will square off against South Miami at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. TERRA Environmental is facing South Miami at the right time seeing as South Miami is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
