Game recap: Walled Lake Northern High School Football Team beats Howell

COMMERCE, Mich. - Walled Lake Northern (Commerce, Mich.) snapped Howell (Mich.)'s 4-game winning streak, with a 41-27 victory on Saturday.

After taking the lead on a rushing touchdown in the second quarter, the Knights led 28-7 at the half.

Walled Lake Northern saw its 21-point halftime lead fall to 15 entering the fourth.

With the win WLN extended its winning streak to nine games. The Commerce school defeated the Lions 29-18 last week.



Jonny Cheshire played well for the Highlanders. The senior quarterback threw two touchdowns. He has now scored eight touchdowns on the season.

Howell came in giving up 15.3 points per game this season.
