Basketball Recap: Subiaco Academy Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Subiaco Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They snuck past the Lamar Warriors with a 68-62 victory on Tuesday.

Several Warriors players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ben Noonan, who went 5 of 8 on his way to 14 points along with six boards and four steals. Noonan is crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least four every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kendrick Carr, who went 7 of 9 en route to 17 points.

Subiaco Academy's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Lamar, they moved to 7-1 with that defeat, which also ended their seven-game winning streak.

Subiaco Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 69-46 victory against Booneville on the 13th. Lamar has also already played their next matchup, a 79-44 win against Mountainburg on the 12th.
