Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Phoenix Christian). They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat the BASIS Phoenix Firebirds 95-45. Given the Cougars' advantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 141st, while the Firebirds are ranked 316th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Phoenix Christian's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-8. As for BASIS Phoenix, their loss was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-9.
