A win for Sam Houston just wasn't in the cards on Thursday as the squad wasn't able to take the lead at any point. They had to suffer through a 42-8 loss at the hands of the Haltom Buffalos. The match marked the Texans' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Kenneth Jones threw for 54 yards and a touchdown. Carlos Santillan was his top target, picking up 58 receiving yards. On the ground, Jorden Washington rushed for 96 yards.
