Basketball Recap: Vandalia Comes Up Short

Vandalia lost against Pinckneyville back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Vandalia Vandals had to suffer through a 64-32 loss at the hands of the Pinckneyville Panthers. The Vandals were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-17.

This is the second loss in a row for Vandalia and nudges their season record down to 12-8. As for Pinckneyville, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-5.

Vandalia will challenge Salem at 11:30 a.m. on Monday. As for Pinckneyville, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Pinckneyville Panthers duke it out with the Carterville Lions at 1:00 p.m. on Monday.
