Basketball Recap: Academy Charter Skates Past University Academy Charter with Ease

Academy Charter was handed a heart-breaking three-point loss in their last match, but they sure didn't let that happen against University Academy Charter on Monday. Academy Charter simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the University Academy Charter Generals 53-26. The win was some much needed relief for Academy Charter as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Academy Charter's victory bumped their record up to 6-8. As for University Academy Charter, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-12.

Academy Charter will challenge Dunellen at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for University Academy Charter, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 68-27 defeat against Kearny on the 3rd.
