Palatka has no trouble against Matanzas

Recap: Palatka Panthers vs. Matanzas Pirates
The Palatka Panthers won the last time they faced the Matanzas Pirates, and things went their way on Friday too. Palatka enjoyed a cozy 40-24 win over Matanzas. The win made it back-to-back wins for Palatka.
Palatka got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jhane Fountain out in front who scored 18 points. That makes it two consecutive games in which Fountain has scored at least 25% of Palatka's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Charnelle Cue , who scored 9 points along with 7 rebounds.
Palatka now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Matanzas, they bumped their record down to 1-4 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.
Palatka will challenge Seabreeze at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Seabreeze is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for Matanzas, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Menendez at 6:00 p.m.
