Volleyball Game Preview: Spaulding Red Raiders vs. Bishop Guertin Cardinals

The Spaulding Red Raiders will face off against the Bishop Guertin Cardinals at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Spaulding is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak.

On Monday, Spaulding came up short against Nashua North and fell 3-1.

Meanwhile, Bishop Guertin faced Dover in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. The Cardinals fell just short of the Green Wave by a score of 3-2. While the Cardinals didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Green Wave 25-19 in the first set.

Bishop Guertin actually scored more points across those five sets (108-105), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The final score came out to 19-25, 25-21, 26-24, 20-25, 15-13.

Bishop Guertin's loss dropped their record down to 13-3. As for Spaulding, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-14.

Spaulding might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Bishop Guertin when the teams last played back in October of 2024.
