Volleyball Recap: Corinth Takes a Loss

If Corinth was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Hadley Luzerne on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Riverhawks came up short against the Hartford Central Tanagers on Friday, falling 3-0. The Riverhawks have struggled against the Tanagers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-12, 25-11.

Despite the defeat, Corinth saw an underclassman step up: freshman Addy Cook had 19 digs.

Corinth's loss dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Hartford Central, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-5.

As of now, neither Corinth nor the Tanagers have any future games scheduled.
