Salinas extended the longest winning streak in Monterey Bay - Gabilan this week by beating Christopher, 50-13. The victory was the fourth in a row for the team.

Salinas moved up to 366 from 470 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Cowboys were able to make the jump by beating the Cougars 50-13.

Christopher's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Cougars feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Sterlin Montgomery has thrown for 1189 yards and eight touchdowns this season, while Rayshon Mills has 23 catches for 426 yards. Mills leads the league in rushing with 270 yards.

The top two teams in Monterey Bay - Gabilan will face off this week when first place Monterey takes on second place Salinas. Monterey topped San Benito last week, while Salinas defeated Christopher.

The Cowboys took down the Cougars 50-13 last week, the largest margin of any game.
