Mykheal Smith posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he rushed for 200 yards and three TDs while picking up 11.1 yards per carry. He has become a key player for Academy of Richmond County: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 1-3 otherwise.

Looking ahead, Smith and Academy of Richmond County will face off against West Laurens at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The matchup will pit Smith up against the Raiders' star RB Ty Cummings.
