Basketball Game Preview: Colleyville Heritage Panthers vs. Grapevine Mustangs

Colleyville Heritage and Grapevine are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2020, but not for long. The Colleyville Heritage Panthers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Grapevine Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Colleyville Heritage knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Grapevine likes a good challenge.

Colleyville Heritage took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Richland 66-63. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Panthers have posted since January 9, 2024.

Meanwhile, Grapevine was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 60-46 bruising from Richland.

The win got Colleyville Heritage back to even at 12-12. As for Grapevine, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-14.

Colleyville Heritage strolled past Grapevine in their previous matchup back in February of 2024 by a score of 68-51. Does Colleyville Heritage have another victory up their sleeve, or will Grapevine turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
