Basketball Recap: Fort Stockton Victorious

Fort Stockton proved they can win big last Friday (they won by 27) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Pecos Eagles 44-42. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Panthers have posted since December 14, 2024.

Fort Stockton's win bumped their record up to 17-13. As for Pecos, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-13 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fort Stockton will head out to challenge Andrews at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Pecos, they will head out on the road to take on Greenwood at 6:15 p.m. on Friday.
