Softball Recap: Port Isabel Takes a Loss

Port Isabel was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They came up short against the La Feria Lions, falling 16-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-1 back in March.

Port Isabel's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for La Feria, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-5.

Coincidentally, Port Isabel and La Feria will both be playing Valley View the next time they take the field. The Lions will host the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Tarpons will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
