Western Reserve is 9-1 against South Central since December of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Western Reserve Roughriders will look to defend their home court against the South Central Trojans at 7:00 p.m.

They fell just short of the Big Red by a score of 44-42. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Roughriders have suffered since February 14, 2024.

Meanwhile, South Central can bid farewell to their 11-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They skirted past St. Peter's 53-51.

South Central's victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-12. As for Western Reserve, their loss dropped their record down to 5-9.

Western Reserve didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against South Central in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, but they still walked away with a 57-52 win.
