The Valley Christian Warriors are taking a road trip to take on the Presentation Panthers at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Valley Christian is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.4 runs per game this season.

Valley Christian will bounce into Friday's match after beating Archbishop Mitty, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. The Warriors had just enough and edged out the Monarchs 2-0. The win was familiar territory for the Warriors, who have now won three games in a row.

Valley Christian's victory was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Gabrielle Ho, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 20 runs the game before, Presentation was a bit more limited in their contest on Wednesday. They came up short against Saint Francis, falling 19-2.

Valley Christian's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-5. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.2 runs over those games. As for Presentation, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 14 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record this season.

Valley Christian took their win against Presentation in their previous matchup back in April by a conclusive 14-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
