Basketball Recap: Prescott Wins Going Away Against Lafayette County

Prescott lost to Lafayette County back in December of 2017, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Monday. The Prescott Curley Wolves enjoyed a cozy 66-49 victory over the Lafayette County Cougars.

When it comes to explaining why Lafayette County lost, don't look at Rod Bailey. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 26 points and 13 rebounds. Bailey continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Alex Stevens, who posted three points.

Prescott's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Lafayette County, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-4.

Prescott didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 61-56 victory against Centerpoint on the 14th. Lafayette County has also already played their next contest, a 54-50 loss against Bearden on the 14th.
