Softball Recap: Kickapoo Snags Fourth Win in Last Five Games

Kickapoo won the last time they faced Weston and things went their way on Thursday too. The Panthers walked away with a 9-6 victory over the Silver Eagles. That's two games straight that the Panthers have won by exactly three runs.

Kickapoo has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.8 runs over those games. As for Weston, they dropped their record down to 1-13 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight at home.

Kickapoo has already played their next game (against Westby), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Weston, they will be playing in front of their home fans against North Crawford at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Trojans have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14.6 runs per game on average), something the Silver Eagles will no doubt try to take advantage of.
