Tarboro had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They breezed past the Camden County Bruins to the tune of 52-0 on Friday. The Vikings' win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Tarboro to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kamerin McDowell-Moore, who rushed for 75 yards and one score. McDowell-Moore showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 68 yards.
McDowell-Moore was just one part of a punishing run game: Tarboro was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 244 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 196 rushing yards in 23 consecutive contests dating back to last season.
Special teams also played a big role in the game for Tarboro, adding 14 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Jhalen Pharr-McNair, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.
