Soccer Recap: Lake Ridge Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Lake Ridge can now relate to. They fell just short of the Keller Indians by a score of 4-3 on Thursday. The match was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Lake Ridge couldn't quite close it out.

Kyleigh Pete and Kamoree Slater scored all three of Lake Ridge's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 34 goals.

Lake Ridge's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-4-2. As for Keller, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-1-6.

Lake Ridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Keller, they will take on Midland on Monday.
