Football Game Preview: Waupaca Comets vs. New London Bulldogs

The Waupaca Comets will venture away from home to take on the New London Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Waupaca comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

Waupaca came up short against Seymour on Friday, falling 34-14.

Meanwhile, the third road contest was the charm for New London, as they earned their first away win of the season. They managed a 21-15 victory over Xavier on Friday. The Bulldogs' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Waupaca's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for New London, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Waupaca strolled past New London in their previous meeting back in September of 2024 by a score of 51-34. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Comets since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
