Flint Southwestern Academy had lost five games straight , but after bumping their record up to 2-9 on Tuesday that streak is in the rearview. They were the clear victors by a 17-9 margin over the Hamady Hawks. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Knights also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2017.

Flint Southwestern Academy got a massive performance out of Matthew Kendall, who got on base in three of his five plate appearances with six stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. Kendall also put up a hit, which was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Sanaa Richardson, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with four stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI.

Flint Southwestern Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .684. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

As for Hamady, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-7-1. On the bright side, the nine- run effort marked their highest-scoring game to date.

On Hamady's side, Robert Lenoir made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and one stolen base. Marvel Brewer Brewer was another key player, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with three runs and one stolen base.

As of now, neither Flint Southwestern Academy nor Hamady have any future games scheduled.
