Hondo is 6-0 against Cotulla since November of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Hondo Owls will welcome the Cotulla Cowboys at 7:30 p.m. Hondo knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight games -- so hopefully Cotulla likes a good challenge.

Hondo is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Lytle just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Friday. They were dealt a 90-56 loss at the hands of the Pirates. The Owls were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 54-20.

Meanwhile, Cotulla was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against Jourdanton, falling 57-34.

Hondo's loss dropped their record down to 10-17. As for Cotulla, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-13.

Hondo came out on top in a nail-biter against Cotulla in their previous meeting on January 3rd, sneaking past 62-59. Will Hondo repeat their success, or does Cotulla have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
