Salado has gone a perfect 5-0 against Taylor recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Salado Eagles will look to defend their home pitch against the Taylor Ducks at 7:15 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Taylor will be up against a hot Salado team: the squad just extended their winning streak to 16. Salado never let Caldwell get on the board and left with an 8-0 victory on Friday. Give the Eagles' defense some credit: that's the team's 16th straight shutout.

Meanwhile, Taylor and C.H. Yoe's match on Friday was close at halftime, but Taylor turned on the heat in the second half with four goals. Taylor was the clear victors by a 5-1 margin over C.H. Yoe. The win continues a trend for the Ducks in their matchups with the Yoemen: they've now won eight in a row.

Samantha Schroeder and Analisa Arredondo scored all five of Taylor's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 28 goals.

Salado pushed their record up to 21-3 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those nine games. As for Taylor, their win bumped their record up to 16-5.

Everything went Salado's way against Taylor in their previous meeting back in February, as Salado made off with a 6-0 victory. Will Salado repeat their success, or does Taylor have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
