Soccer Recap: Mankato West Comes Up Short

Mankato West lost against New Ulm back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Scarlets fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 1-0. While losing is never fun, Mankato West can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota soccer rankings (they are ranked 123rd, while New Ulm are ranked 34th).

Mankato West has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season. As for New Ulm, their victory bumped their record up to 13-2-2.

As of now, neither Mankato West nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
