Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Chisholm). They put the hurt on the Blackwell Maroons with a sharp 16-6 victory on Monday. The Longhorns haven't had any issues with the Maroons recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Chisholm pushed their record up to 11-7 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.6 runs over those games. As for Blackwell, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-14.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Chisholm beat the Maroons by a score of 15-7 later that day.
