Baseball Recap: Trinity Valley Triumphs

The third road matchup was the charm for Trinity Valley, as they earned their first away victory of the season. They skirted past the St. Stephen's Episcopal Spartans 4-3. The Trojans' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Jackson Drake was excellent, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases and one run. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Charlie Boulware also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Trinity Valley's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for St. Stephen's Episcopal, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.

Coming up, Trinity Valley will challenge Richland at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for St. Stephen's Episcopal, they will take on St. Michael's at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
