Basketball Recap: Patriot Comes Up Short

Patriot was the 59-50 winner over Ramona when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Patriot Warriors were dealt a 73-43 loss at the hands of the Ramona Rams on Tuesday.

Troy Terrell continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Ramona, putting up 34 points along with six steals and five boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Garrett Pickens, who posted four points in addition to eight assists and six steals.

Patriot has traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last 12 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-14 record this season. As for Ramona, they pushed their record up to 18-5 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home.

Patriot will square off against Norte Vista at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Norte Vista will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Patriot surely won't give up without a fight. As for Ramona, they and La Sierra will face off at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest having both just played. One thing working in Ramona's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 12 games.
