Sunnydale Academy will head out on the road to face off against the Mid-Missouri HomeSchool Mavericks at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Sunnydale Academy is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road.
Last Sunday, Sunnydale Academy strolled past Midland Adventist Academy with points to spare, taking the game 40-24.
Meanwhile, Mid-Missouri HomeSchool had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They took down Kansas City East Christian Academy 51-37 on Saturday. Winning is a bit easier when you work as a team to post eight more assists than your opponent, as Mid-Missouri HomeSchool did.
Mid-Missouri HomeSchool's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kylie Robinson, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Cadence Keeney, who scored seven points along with nine rebounds and four steals.
Sunnydale Academy's record now sits at 6-2. Mid-Missouri HomeSchool's record now sits at 15-12.
Sunnydale Academy couldn't quite finish off Mid-Missouri HomeSchool when the teams last played last Thursday and fell 34-31. Can Sunnydale Academy avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
