Baseball Recap: Clovis Victorious

It may have taken nine innings to finish the job, but Clovis ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They skirted past the Turlock Bulldogs 6-5.

Dylan Hall was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Brenden Kuraspediani, who earned two RBI and two runs.

Clovis now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Turlock, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-3.

Coming up, Clovis will square off against Paso Robles at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Bearcats' pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so the Cougars' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Turlock, they will face off against El Capitan at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bulldogs' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Gauchos have averaged an impressive 7 runs per game this season.
