Basketball Recap: Red River Triumphs

Red River saw some tournament action on Thursday. They came out on top against the Good Samaritan HomeSchool Hornets by a score of 59-50.

Good Samaritan HomeSchool lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Eli Shannon, who went 5-for-9 to rack up 10 points and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of George Fogo, who posted ten points and four steals.

Red River now has a winning record of 14-13. As for Good Samaritan HomeSchool, they moved to 23-6 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Red River wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 79-78 win against FBCHA on the 6th. As for Good Samaritan HomeSchool, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 54-47 victory against Lubbock T on the 5th.
