Baseball Recap: Hopedale Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Hopedale gave up the first runs on Wednesday, but they didn't let that get them down. They put the hurt on the Ashland Clockers with a sharp 7-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Blue Raiders, who have now won four matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

The win (which was Hopedale's fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-2. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Ashland, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-5.
