Owen Marks was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 1-for-4.
In other batting news, Hoover got a massive performance out of Gabriel Flores, who scored four runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances. Alex Weimar was another key player, scoring a run while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances.
