In what's become a running theme this season, South Summit gave their fans yet another huge victory on Wednesday. They blew past the Ben Lomond Scots 18-3. The win was nothing new for South Summit as they're now sitting on three straight.

South Summit got a massive performance out of Emma Broadbent, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with five RBI, two runs, and a stolen base. The team also got some help courtesy of Mariah Bowen, who scored four runs while going 4-for-4.

On Ben Lomond's side, they saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jazlyn Phillips, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and a double.

South Summit now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Ben Lomond, they haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-6.

South Summit will head out on the road to square off against Altamont at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. South Summit will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last. As for Ben Lomond, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Morgan at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Morgan is coming into the match with four straight victories on the road, so Ben Lomond will have to stop a squad with plenty of momentum.
