Football Recap: Peachtree Academy Starts Season with Defeat at Home

Peachtree Academy unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They took a blow against the Central Christian Crusaders on Friday, falling 37-0. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Crusaders apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2016.

Central Christian has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, Peachtree Academy will venture away from home to square off against New Creation Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Central Christian, they will welcome Unity Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
