Volleyball Recap: Open Door Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Open Door Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Perrydale Pirates. If the Huskies were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to the Pirates when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Open Door Christian Academy now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Perrydale, their win bumped their record up to 9-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Open Door Christian Academy will take on Willamette Valley Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Perrydale, they will square off against St. Paul at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
