Piedmont Community Charter won the last time they faced Cherryville, and Eli Grant did his part to make sure it happened again. The Piedmont Community Charter Patriots simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Cherryville Ironmen 83-35 thanks in part to Grant, who almost dropped a triple-double on 14 points, ten boards, and nine steals. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last 11 games he's played.

Despite the loss, Cherryville still got an impressive performance from Talon Dalton, who posted 12 points.

Piedmont Community Charter is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.0 points per game. As for Cherryville, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-15.
